So sorry I didn't post sooner! Personal problems ensued, as well as procrastination techniques.
But for now, I can write something for my sugary pink bunnies!
In honor of winter ending, I shall use brown lettering!
Today's topic is: gifts!
First, before I go on, I would like to address something important: The wrapping! You should always express care and cuteness in tying up the parcel, as well as the present itself!
You should:
Use cute wrapping paper! Perhaps Disney princesses or some other overall cute pattern!
Bows, bows bows! Tie it up nicely with a large pink frill!
Don't forget to use tissue paper, and decorate your card or letter nicely.
Onto the gifts!
1. Bloomers!
These are great for personalizing! Think about your receiver's style: are they a Lolita or someone that prefers cute fashion? Choose a length! And also, depending on your receiver's climate, you could pick a fabric that breathes or line it with fir, etc.
2. Pillows!
Show both of your inner feminists by stitching some cute words on a square, or if that doesn't intrigue you, make a strawberry shaped one or something sugary sweet!
3. Bows and headdresses!
Will it be a headband, a tie on, a clip in, there are millions of possibilities! You can never have too many bows!
4. A poem or story!
"Why not write a Lolita story? A short story or something longer if you
have the time. You could include many Lolita themes, things like
vampires, little girls, handsome men in top hats, a gothic london
setting. Make your heroine a brave young girl with excellent fashion
sense."
as the princess portal puts it.
The alternative is a cuter theme, with elements like schoolgirls, talking animals, princesses, dolls, country-life, or magical girls!
5. A dance!
Practice a dance to your receiver's favorite k-pop or j-pop song, jump into your frills, and just have fun! You can record it and give your friend a CD with the song and a letter.
6. Sweets, sweets, and more sweets!
Bake some delicious goodies for your friend to enjoy, don't forget to cutify them!
7. A care package!
For that person that is sick or you know has perhaps some sort of mental disorder (anxiety, depression, etc.) put together some time of happy basket! Include a movie (Disney, Studio Ghibli, and My Little Pony are popular choices), some food (Japanese snacks and American snacks alike!), a good book (Studio Ghibli Comics, manga, or even 80's kiddie picture-books! Here are some more ideas.), some type of soother whether it be refreshing body wash or cotton candy lotion, and a keychain with something personal on it like an inside joke or a picture of you: as carrying something as dear to their heart as that with them will often help them (well, it works for me).
8. Clothes!
Find some bland clothing pieces as thrift stores and give them a make-over!
9. Purikura!
Give some pictures of your best friend a make-over with an app or website, then print onto sticker paper.
10. A masterpiece!
Piece together pictures of their celebrity crush, idol, etc. onto a background like so and frame in a cute decorated frame!
11. Dress up dolls!
Play around and you can find something better than hot cocoa! ^u^
13. Tea!
Again, mess around with it!
14. Facial Scrub!
Great for the beauty guru in your life.
